  • Why did so many people upvote that?

    The world revolves around the sun homie, not America…

    Hell, the big reason they got arrested, is they kept openly saying to a global audience “we came here because with a little money there’s no consequences”.

    Which pisses off the corrupt justice system and the people who benefit from it.

    They fucked up a nice situation a lot of dangerous people benefit from, but you’re clearly stuck in your own world view if you honestly think:

    They learned from our local high-profile crooks that if you can delay proceeding for a couple years, the process ends.

    Just fucking wild man

  • Nobody is saying that being a human is illegal, or that they are innately illegal.

    The headline:

    Illegal foreigners

    But in case you’re honestly trying to learn:

    Use an adjective to describe a person. Don’t use a noun to label to them.

    Christian’s are the exception because they “took it back” like over a thousand years ago when they became the majority, it’s perfectly fine for them to prefer that. But it doesn’t effect any other group.

    And it’s not just religions, literally every group in every conversation;

    Use adjectives.

    Not nouns.

  • Genocidal fascists always hate the media…

    The killing of journalists in the Israel–Hamas war, along with other acts of violence against journalists, marks the deadliest period for journalists in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict since 1992 and the deadliest conflict for journalists in the 21st century.[1] As of September 2024, the Committee to Protect Journalists counted 116 journalists who were killed (111 Palestinian, 2 Israeli and 3 Lebanese),[2] and the International Federation of Journalists counted 134 journalists and media workers who were killed (127 Palestinian, 4 Israeli and 3 Lebanese)[3] A July 2024 count by the Gaza government media office placed the number of Palestinian journalists killed at 160.[4][5]

    On 30 January 2024, the head of the Committee to Protect Journalists stated, “Israel’s war on Gaza is more deadly to journalists than any previous war”.[6][7] Israeli airstrikes additionally damaged or destroyed an estimated 48 media facilities in Gaza.[8] Reporters Without Borders has reported that the Israeli army intentionally targeted Palestinian and Lebanese journalists.[8] The Guardian stated that contrary to international law, Israel had targeted Hamas-affiliated Palestinian journalists despite their non-involvement in combat, thus disputing Israel’s denial of targeting journalists.[9] In 2023, nearly 75% of journalists killed worldwide were Palestinians who had died in Israel’s war in Gaza.[10][9]
