You’d be surprised what a squad of cops can do on break.

…and use that as a strategy guide to oppress others?
Very interesting to see! Thanks for compiling these.
Even Canadian news media was the same. Trump would be on there every other night at least, and people tuned in to see what lie Trump told or stupid thing he did today. Many even had a special banner attached to it, similar to special coverage done for Olympic Games, certain wars, events or elections.
Meh, I take all the news and developments with large lumps of salt for this topic especially.
I believe both that Hamas is operating behind human shields to curry favour against humanitarian law, and that the IDF is more or less indiscriminately harming civilians, refugees and militants of Palestine all in the same brushstroke to excuse extermination as merely retaliation (also against humanitarian law in case that’s not clear to anyone)
When it’s unclear I’ll say 7 in the evening, or 7 in the morning, 7pm, 7am. 7 at night, supper at 7, whichever one isn’t pitch dark. There are many ways to go about it.
The OP link has a weird reddit URL thing at the beginning…
This video illustrates it well
(loud barking warning)
Not on Reddit, that’s for sure.
In Chinese/Japanese they may not necessarily start with the same letter but they look kind of similar:
右 vs. 左, might mistake them if you aren’t wearing your contacts :P
Ah yes, I wonder if anything happened on the 65th day of April, in the square close to the place which the sun rises…
Redreader was my favourite app… I ended up giving it up for Lemmy fully in July anyway.
Yeah, I was visiting Seattle at a tram stop, I could hear an ad from a gas pump going off from halfway across the street… obnoxious af.
Interesting to hear your experience. It took me 3.5 months to fully remove myself from Reddit. (March to July):
I’m not one who likes to go cold turkey, but when once I commit to boycotting something I stick to it until my condition is met. In those final days I came across many Reddit users who were like “if you hate Reddit that much why are you still using iiiiiit?”, that was annoying but that’s behind me now and there is no condition for me to go back to it.
I agree. If Reddit won, the victory was pyrrhic if anything. Their whole plan to end 3rd party app support could have been just a small road bump if they had just done it transparently and planned it with reasonably thought out timelines. They instead chose to do a whole front flip over it and get everyone mad, tanking their brand while trying to make it look like nothing happened.
Anyways, congratulations on your victory. Here’s your prize: ❤
Ah, if that was what you’re after, it’s too bad you missed the wave of old memes that happened on !memes@lemmy.ml.
The person you replied to is giving the classic “they must have been acting suggestively” excuse.
