Experts on violence widely agree that the death penalty is not an effective deterrent.

The death penalty needs to be abolished entirely, not “expedited”.

    Even if it could be guaranteed that every death sentence was applied to an undeniably guilty person, I still wouldn’t want it to happen.

    I do not ever want the State to kill anyone in my name, when they are no longer a threat to society.
