Lmao. I feel really bad for Alec (and everyone involved in the incident) obviously but this is hilarious.

Don’t leave out the fact that he was the producer that spent as little money as possible on the staff that was in charge of making sure the props on set were safe.

She wasn’t running around with the gun, pointing it at people, making bang-bang noises, thinking they were funny or something.
Alec Baldwin definitely should have ended up with more of the blame than he did. Pointing a real gun at people and pulling the trigger, even if you think it’s not loaded, is fucking scary and terrifying behavior for exactly the reasons that resulted in this case.

For the incident in question at least, wasn’t he directed to do so for a cinematic shot? Being the reason why the bullet hit 2 people filming (behind the camera).

As in it was the armorer’s job to make sure the weapon didn’t even have debris that could make a blank dangerous (being loaded with live rounds is a much bigger mistake).

And if he was not supposed to pull the trigger, then it likely should’ve been completely empty.

80s/90s Hollywood megastar turned B-List actor/serial Saturday Night Live host who hasn’t lost any of his ego since becoming less of a household name.

Also, while filming Rust, he accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured screenwriter Joel Souza with the same shot from what was supposed to be a prop gun filled with blanks.

I stand behind Alec Baldwin because he’s facing the Pacific Ocean and I’m in Europe. We are not the same.

His words were followed by a bang from the gun as a lead bullet ripped through Ms Hutchins before landing in the shoulder of the film’s director, Joel Souza.

Blood began pouring from Ms Hutchins’ chest as she fell backward into the head electrician and Mr Souza crumpled to the ground clutching his shoulder.

The 42-year-old cinematographer uttered her last words as crew members crowded around her and a boom operator locked eyes, telling her: “Oh, that was no good.”

Mr Baldwin looked on in horror and repeatedly yelled: “What the f*** just happened,” according to the witnesses

this is literally the funniest shit I have ever heard
