    I thought airfryer was supposed to be alternative to pan, oven or a fryer, not to microwave

        It’s a tiny convection oven. My wife wants one. Despite us having a convection oven. This has caused arguments

          It’s really like comparing a heated swimming pool with a circulating filter to a hot tub.

          The much more aggressive air flow in the very small vessel means the air stays hotter and makes the food crispier.

          It also heats up to 400° in just a few minutes so you don’t need to use massive amounts of energy and warm up your whole kitchen just to make a serving of fish fingers.

            It’s essentially a small convection oven on steroids. You can also get oven style airfryer with trays, rotating baskets and rotisserie spits.
