Within a year of “Feel Good” news articles showing up about that sub, Mars had copyrighted the phrase “Random Acts of Chocolate” and ran an ad campaign based on “buy one for a friend” trying to sell more chocolate. Jesus Christ its been a decade and it still pisses me the fuck off that every unmitigated good social thing that happens is immediately used by corporations in weak attempts to exploit social good for profits.
