Hubris. They were up in the polls at the time and didn’t think they needed to expand their appeal, so they caved and took Thiel’s guy.
Ron Desantis’s “Weekend at Bernie’s president” joke at the RNC, like every other accusation from the GOP, was just more projection.
A DA will be a nice foil to the convicted felon.
Regarding ballot eligibility- I think part of timing for this is that the Dems are about to have their “roll call” in the next week or two to officially nominate a candidate to get on ballots before the official full convention.
Because it’s the only realistic option on a federal level until we have ranked choice voting.
For the rest of us who aren’t in states with the trial this year, I’ve been using Freetaxusa for a few years. Free federal, $15 state.

What? It could absolutely be worse. Look at the policies in Florida/Texas/Idaho against education, trans people, voting rights, labor rights, etc. I’m glad we at least got who we got. We could have done way worse.
I think you’re overestimating the power of a “Democratic Majority” anchored by Manchin and Sinema.
So they really just turned off the Apollo token out of spite, then?
For clarity’s sake, I think it’s worth pointing out that you’re talking about the City of London, the 1 square mile with a population of under 10,000.
Yup, I always tell people I’m biased about WI because I left. I’m sure OH has a lot of similar reasons.
