Just jog on the beach with no shoes so you get those cool spread out toes

Why not jellyfin or plex
I have jerboa and just started using connect and like the ‘experimental’ slide to next post option
I mean if you use windows it’s baked right into the OS already, I still just prefer Firefox though, I liked the profiles in chrome especially made it easy to switch accounts with its own bookmarks but I got used to living without that
well on unRaid you just click add a pool and you select which drives you want in it, then you just tell your shares to use that pool
I saw a post earlier on how someone was using the free hosting in Oracle to run their instance, I made an account but haven’t gotten it setup
It works great I keep my containers in the cache so they operate faster, and when moving files to my server it gets placed on the cache initially so the transfer is quick, then later it will migrate into the slower hard drives on it’s own time
I upgraded my gaming machine and used my old motherboard and cpu and loaded unraid on there, the i7 was great for plex transcoding and eventually i ran out of sata ports on my machine so I stuck a sata expander card in my one pcie slot, luckily the motherboard had two m.2 slots so I used that for cache. the case I used was a node304 and over time I added drives as I was running out of space. eventually I build a separate JBOD chassis to hold more drives
does using an app make it easier to use lemmy compared to just installing the PWA from firefox?
but then why not just buy the rub on stuff, you get more and it costs less plus you dont go spraying things into the air
I had a scare when i went to setup 2fa, I guess i only copied the last digits of the link thinking all I needed were the numbers and then I couldnt sign in, luckily I still had an open tab with my account signed in and was able to redo the 2fa before being completely signed out, with no email on the account I would have had to start over
but reddit doesnt require an email? I never used an email for all my accounts Id create a new account every few months
It’s the same with lemmy.one, took me a few days to get in without an email waiting for approval
Would be awesome if you could just install an application onto your machine to be self hosted from
I’m thinking it’s gone unless the owner of your instance makes backups
Hah I’m not sure about that but I know about the toes b cause I had a teacher who grew up along the beach and played soccer barefoot a lot and now has super spread out toes and is proud of them
