In my opinion these parties are often mentioning valid issues or things that could be improved in society, and people vote for that. The problem is these parties don’t really have solutions either, but that’s something that doesn’t show up until after the elections…
I’d recommend scheduled tasks instead. Why be involved at all? :-)
That’s no longer a technical process issue but more of a teamcoach/HR kind of issue then. You should be able to assume good intentions from colleagues, imho.
We use a CI pipeline check which prevents merges to master if the code contains a TODO. A precommit hook only works if the developer has the hooks configured.

Plan a day where some of the guys come in skirts. Bonus points if they are a bit too short. You’ll see how quick they change that dresscode. Employers are not allowed (at least where I live in EU) to have such dresscodes based on gender, that’s discrimination… we were planning to do it at the place where I work a couple years ago but when management heard about it they changed the policy.
It used to be required at a lot of camping pools because the longer shorts would take too much water out of the pool… nowadays it’s not often required anymore in my experience.
