Where did I say I support a full scale invasion or an invasion of any kind (I don’t)? Also the attacks are not sporadic. We’re talking about daily rocket attacks on the entire northern region of Israel (mostly targeting population centers, not military targets).

I’m not at all supportive of Israel, but are you really defending Hezbollah bombing civilian targets almost exclusively - the very thing you (mostly rightfully) accuse Israel of doing?

I don’t think apps have to be FOSS. It’s super important for libraries, frameworks and other infrastrucuture related stuff to be FOSS, but you can always change a client.

I’m not sure this is necessarily a bad thing. Imagine inge a stable commercial service with high quality moderation (hopefully paid for by the operators) but with an option to follow other instances and transfer your data to another instance. That could be pretty good for drawing in people who just want something that works and refuse to leave reddit.
