Exchanging things is trade. Currency is a medium of exchange. Not having currency doesn’t stop trade, it just makes it more difficult.

Chickens aren’t currency. Trade and currency are two different things.
So if I paid in chickens then it’s not prostitution?
Eliminating time zones doesn’t make scheduling meetings easier it just changes the language. Instead of figuring out what time it is elsewhere you have to remember what normal working hours are, Europe, US, and Japan aren’t all going to be available 9-5 UTC. It’s just as easy to suggest a meeting at functionally midnight without time zones.
There’s about the same number of foods that are actually from Europe, as there are foods that immigrants made theirs once they got here.
It’s Irish American, I doubt it has anything to do with Ireland.
Banks would go out of business and credit unions would look a lot more like banks. This is assuming both business and personal accounts move. If just personal accounts move, not much happens.
Not supporting terrorism doesn’t take room.
If one person shows up to a Trump rally with a nazi flag you’d likely be calling the whole group nazis.
Well this deal almost happened.
They have, but it’s largely meaningless because nothing really happens unless hamas releases all the hostages.
If there was fraud show the trial and proof it affected the outcome, then start talking about another vote. There’s essentially some low levels of fraud in every vote.
A second vote sets a dangerous precedent if you ever want to do something unpopular.
If you have one nazi…
Most electric cars have regenerative braking. It’s not magic though, it takes more energy to speed the car back up than it recovers. Regenerative braking just makes stopping less bad for range. Sure you can go down a mountain and gain a lot of power, but not enough to go back up the mountain.
You are roughly a decade late. Computers have been grading essays for a long time. The mcat for example hasn’t had human grading in about that long.
The first ammendment isn’t unlimited there are a fair amount of restrictions. The ones that are allowed follow strict scrutiny, which is basically a two part test. There must be a compelling state interest, AND the law must use the least restive means possible to achieve that interest.
Most these book bans likely don’t meet that standard. They are allowed to exist because they are considered valid until ruled otherwise. To overrule these bans it would be required for someone to have standing that they are materially harmed by the ban. This is how most bans will stay, as proving someone has standing is pretty difficult in this case.
Flex time was one of the best parts of working in government. Being able to craft basically any schedule so long as it was 40 hours and not more than 10/day was really useful.
Single payer is unlikely to save money. The US spends more for everything, the government is not known for being fiscally responsible.
The Sotomayor dissent was awful. It’s an absurd argument with no real basis in reality. Whether the president is immune from ordering the assassination of a rival is largely irrelevant, because it wouldn’t get to a criminal trial anyway. It’s already illegal for the seals to carry out that order as well.
The president told me to do it isn’t a valid defense
