How can something that’s only value comes from exploiting biological process(addiction) have any real “value”? Ones who make this stuff dont have to pay for shit when they make this and it doesnt bring anything positive to the world. Rather, it has negative value and by destroying it you are creating some value.

Israel is the last country one would think that would do things like this to other people, considering their history. Its like they want to create validation for bad things people have said about them. Though i hope its same situation as in russia, regular people dont want to do those things but are so apathetic and fear their leaders so much they dont dare to rise up. Though in this situation they are likely also so well misled and manipulated they think they are doing the “right thing”. Eitherway, current israeli leadership should just go, like previous german leadership. I really dont want to think majority of their country supports this.

it could be kind of disrespectful towards the culture that built them. I dont think we can restore them in such a way it respects the beliefs and culture of those who built them, so best thing to do would be to make sure they dont decay further. Also, restoring them just so tourists can have something to gawk at would be a kin to showing middle finger to those who built and revered them. And i doubt anyone would be interested in doing anything without monetary gain from it.

I’m just so tired and annoyed about people wanting to restrict adblocking in anyway, so I guess i assume things too easily. I consider being able to not see ads my inherent right.

If someone claims adblocking is form of piracy they are also claiming its immoral or bad thing to do. I doubt someone making claim like that would have anything nice to say about piracy.

rest of europe will follow eventually if russia is allowed to take ukraine. East side first and rest later after that is allowed to fall too, since why bother with those countries either if ukraine doesnt matter now. after the current war russia will likely spend most of their national capacity on building up the army and equipment. china and russia will likely co-operate enough that china will start the war for taiwan at the same time russia attempts something so that nato resources are needed at multiple places. Maybe north korea will try to attack south too.

Technically I would be fucked if google decided to just block my account and they have demonstrated they will do it if they feel like it

(the case in 2022 about someone sending picture of their own baby to the doctor and was automatically flagged for it. google blocked that persons account and didnt unblock it even though it was proven he did nothing wrong. The pictures werent even sent via gmail, i think, so google just scanned their private photos.)

Even smallest things you do can help because they also affect how other people think about it. But yes, you shouldnt worry about things beyond ones control too much.
