You may be right. I should probably have said, “what is implied by your reply in the context of the thread is not true” instead, and then perhaps elaborated on the implication some more.

What are you talking about? I just agreed that there is a difference between voters and politicians, and then I elaborated on one such difference. In the same comment I also tried to highlight that this still means that it is not the “immigration” question they are voting for.

There is a difference. But what you are saying is not true, bacause it was tested in Sweden. All parties in parliament, except three parties at like 18% votes in total, said the far-right party have always been correct when it comes to immigration (“always” including when they were an explicit nazi party), and switched to their line. If the voters understood and did not want all that other shit, they should have switched. They did not.

But there is a difference. The people who run the party today, who joined it when it was an explicit nazi party, probably have a certain goal in their mind where they need all these steps. The voters, in general, are just rationalizing why they vote for the steps.

These takes are always so dumb. “It’s immigration”. Then why do these parties also want to get rid of public access television and radio? Why are they trying to limit investigative journalism? Why are they limiting independent research at universities? Why are the against public welfare systems? Social institutions? Juridicial safety? Democratic protections? It’s almost like it is something more…

There is also a large analysis around migration that plays various roles in this. Like they mention that services are unmaintainable with no immigration to those areas. But also, who is emmigrating to cities? People seeking higher education, often from more well off families, predominatly women. This leaves a lot of working class men, who is often the main target of the far right. In Sweden, about 25% of men vote for the far right. This is just one example, I imagine there can be a lot of related reasons to this emmigration observation.

Ah, yes, the Big Immigration, like public access radio and television, critical investigative journalism, social sciences, free elections, independent research, public health care and schools, social democracy, and the environment. No, it can be very important. As I answered in another comment, its called padding https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padding_(cryptography). And to see that it is imortant say you encrypt your easy to remember password in an encrypted file. Now if your attack was possible, having your public key, you could just generate the passwords and encrypt them to figure out your password. Much easier than trying to find your key. Using forms of padding, that does not work.

Well, you use “padding” to solve those things. Like if you type “hello”, your implementation of the whole algorithm should do something like: take the string, add some random string that is tagged in some way, and then encrypt. At decryption, you get a string with some random stuff in it, but you filter the tag and return only the message. Like “hello” -> “[trash]kfkidkeb[/trash] hello”, add and remove the “[trash]” block, before encryption and after decryption, respectively

Eh. It’s not really a definite distinction. Even in GR you formulate effective potentials and the gradient on those potentials are still called forces. Then, what is a force on microscopic scale? It is the exchange of force mediators, like photons. If gravitons exists, then there is even a similar framework for defining a force on a microscopic level for electromagnetism as well as gravity. Furthermore, electromagnetism (qed) also has an interpretation as a curvature, as it is a gauge theory, just not a curvature of physical spacetime, and that does not disqualify if from being called a “force”.

There have been events where nazis show up to counter protest and film/photograph you to then share among themselves so they can attack you later.

The list is so long though, it is impossible to give a good overview in a post. Like the spokesperson (not sure if that title is accurate, more of a public frontfigure) mentioned in the above post also made post of her listening to Kanye West, right after all the antisemitic stuff, while calling Anne Frank “hornyness personified” or something like that. She is still in the party, last I heard, they just moved her to a less public position. And that is just one person.

The party elite and their youtube channel often talks about things like there being a group of people in the public institutions with a explicit goal to annihilate the swedish nation by, among other things, the import of muslims. They have said that the means for which to rid sweden of this “totally not a conspiracy theory” is to, I kid you not, turn sweden into the same type of autocracy as they have in Hungary. That is their publically stated goals which they have defended for years.

I do not trust these nazis on anything they say. If there is anything true to article it would be that their long support for Orban does not look too good now that they try to be pro-NATO and he is the last person in their way.

I think they were moving in that direction at some point. The PiS party of Poland, Orban in Hungary, was in discussions with Russia to start an alternative bloc to the EU, iirc.
