For example, I tried to recreate the Powerlifting community here and it’s completely dead lol. It’s just me posting a couple times per week hoping someone else joins me. There are around 50 subscribers but they only upvote my posts.

Yes. I think it’s because I’m a monthly supporter though. It seems to have a big psychological effect in that I want my money’s worth, and I want Lemmy to succeed. So I comment and post quite a bit to help keep communities active.
I think he mentioned that the app stopped working before the deadline, and then he deleted the token at that point. So Reddit disabled his app early because they’re assholes.
Ha. I host Jenkins (CI/CD) just because. I have some C++ projects that I wanted to run through a build/test pipeline. It’s not too bad to set up. Now it’s dormant 99% of the time though.
Is it a YNAB replacement? It would be nice to drop that annual cost.
Yeah I was on Kbin but got tired of the UI. Plus there are no apps for it.
