You’ve never used charcoal for a grill?
You’ve never used charcoal for a grill?
I feel like it’ll piss off the shitbag more if no one calls it X, so, that’s what I’m going with
Listen. Some of us are looking forward. To the Future. The future of pulling out of that parking spot. Not my fault if you stuck in the rear-view, my guy.
It’s called Fancy Parking, sweetie. Look it up 💅
ah. True. Wasn’t thinking about the modifications required and renting.
You can have a switch such that you use “Shore Power” / the grid when your batteries are low and your batteries when they are full.
For anyone interested: I absolutely do not recommend as a DIY project, hire an electrician. You will kill yourself by stopping your heart or burn your house down. Or both. At the same time.
Aw. I’m so excited for there to be some fake “make energy from water vapor” blockchain bullshit company. Then we get to say vaporware as a double entendre.
(I do feel like I vaguely remember something about harvesting energy from humidity? Tiny nanotubes or something?)
From bulletin board experiences back in the aughts - I don’t know how this wasn’t a similar problem? If it was a recent thread - it got interaction. I think that had the benefit of not having a “front page” so you could see 10 or 20 posts for each sub-forum. Which is similar enough to just going to a subreddit and looking at the most recent posts - but most folks, I think, don’t interact like that with these types of interfaces unless they have a specific thing to look for?
I tried to replace sublime text / vim with it for a while. I liked it but it was really annoying that they’d brick it if I didn’t immediately update when they pushed fixes. I imagine they won’t be doing that anymore if it isn’t public preview.
It was good, though.
Oh that’s what that is 😅 I have that a bunch - was hard to describe as it’s not sleep paralysis. It’s often… confusing… and occasionally disturbing but I’m a bit used to it at this point. It is so weird how it persists until the lights come on
I sat bolt upright in the middle of the night one time talking to the wall, kinda grumpily, and my partner was really disturbed… trying to explain to her that the customs officer wanted something didn’t really help that much.
Seeing bed bugs all over my whole body and everywhere in a grungy motel was pretty disturbing. And a hooded man in the corner, staring, during the middle of the night in a new persons’ bed.
Good lord I can’t imagine having had browsed reddit without an account. The default subs were always so awful/toxic. It was nice having a curated list of hobby subs and cat pics and such
Someone in the reddit comments mentioned you can use awards/coins to bypass ads. That makes sense. In a stupid way. I guess
FWIW - lemmy.world can still see posts on the instances that defederated - they just can’t see us. Like lemmy.world got shadowbanned
Probably depends on who specifically is running the instance and the community on that instance
Also - fwiw - they are likely to refederate in the future. I subscribe to beehaw communities, cuz we can still see them, just can’t talk to them.
TypeError is also a correct response, though, and I think many folks would say makes more sense. Is an unnecessary footgun
