  • Well thin laptops are way lighter, if you only want to take notes at uni it’s perfect. The problem is that they cost a shit ton of money because the constructors understood that making a super light computer with midrange smartphone level performance and price would be such a banger that they couldn’t make any money off of it. So instead they make them as powerful as possible so people have no choice but to write their thesis on machines that can run videogames for 10 minutes before overheating. That’s the stupid part.

  • I don’t see how the video’s argument apply to lemmygrad and hexbear. We believe in what we say, our positions are clear, our instances are moderated to the point where you need to apply to create an account, so you can’t say there’s the same system as 4chan.

Also when they say “own the liberals” they mean insulting women, LGBT people and non-white people. Go ahead and try doing so on Lemmygrad/Hexbear, you’ll get banned. What we call liberalism is the belief that the West is the world’s beacon of democracy, based on abstract and vague ideas of freedom.

  • Friend groups are more often than not anarchist. Valve (the makers of steam) is designed as an anarchist company where workers freely start and join projects

Gotta break some myths here because despite Valve making some of my favourite games of all time I can’t let you call them anarchist.

    • There is very much a hierarchy between workers since they have a ladder scoring system that gets you fired when you’re underperforming
    • They only recruit industry veterans, you can’t enter Valve if you are a beginner, they are not inclusive
    • They have a CEO who owns yachts and shit meaning there is still exploitation even if he is a funny dude and not a corporate ghoul
