That’s what I thought too. I’ve installed HA on a new SD card, restored the backup but the issue still remains…
I’ve got it plugged in directly to usb ports in a Belkin extension lead (2.4A), it’s been fine all that time so I doubt it’s that.
This might be it actually, I’ve bought google Wi-Fi mesh with three access points about a month ago, two of them are running in ethernet backhaul mode but one is not, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was causing interference…
Thanks for this, I’ll look into it.
I did, multiple times, I installed newest HA on a new microSD card, restored a backup but the lag is still there…
It’s not batteries as I swapped them all.
I don’t think it’s the devices I think it affects all of them, unless ikea released some buggy firmware.
It’s all Zigbee devices.
I was thinking that too but it doesn’t look like it’s batteries. In the past the motion sensors would die without this wired behaviour, now the batteries were like at 20%, I put fresh ones in but it didn’t help…
I’ve been running core-2021.8.6 before, now I installed the newest version on new microSD, it was annoying to when restoring a backup as I had to restore Zigbee devices separately and also the automations didn’t transfer, then the devices wouldn’t show in HA despite showing in Zigbee2MQTT…
I’ve got it all working now but the lag still remains.
I’m guessing it’s maybe the USB sniffer being old and breaking down?
I’ve been running that for about two years as well and it’s been fine, but from some time it won’t update and won’t create a backup anymore… It says: “You are running an unsupported installation” and “Your installation is unhealthy”. I think I looked into that a few months ago and it turned out there was some change and I’d have to update docker first, but then I’ve been reading that all your devices disappear, so I really don’t have time to add all the light bulbs and motion sensors and switches and create blueprints from scratch… So I bought a new SD card and I’m planning to run a fresh install and then I copied the config folder via WinSCP and I’m hoping I can restore that as a backup.
Yeah they don’t give a shit, just want to eat, sleep, dump, repeat
Ahh I figured it out. I went to Supervisor > Zigbee2mqtt > Configuration tab - there I noticed there was still old IP (server: mqtt://192.168.0.35:1883), I’ve updated that and now everything works again!
At least I know how to use google. Every one in my office just throws questions and then one of them will google it
Reach ppl should be in a sub
Many thanks for the suggestion, I changed the channel from 11 to 25 and it’s working perfectly again!
