    • Newpipe doesn’t let you leave comments (which was the reason I personally switched to it – I used to spend too much time commenting like half of the stuff I watched, and I watched a lot) or login with a Google account;
    • newpipe doesn’t have sponsorblock (which is currently solved by using tubular; note that it may or may not become abandoned like previous attempts by other ppl);
    • newpipe lets you download video/audio (although, admittedly, having yt-dlp in termux is still more than handy for bulk downloads);
    • newpipe has better (imo) background playback: you can either play or enqueue both videos and playlists (note: I haven’t used yt app for a while, so mb it also can do similar stuff)
    • newpipe doesn’t need play services whatsoever;
    • newpipe’s ui takes some time to get used to (imo)

  • Technically, it’s “source available” if that’s what they mean/say. However, afaiu the

    This EE License applies only to the part of this Software that is not distributed as part of AFFiNE Community Edition (CE). Any part of this Software distributed as part of AFFiNE CE or is served client-side […], is copyrighted under the MPL2.0 license.

    part, it only applies to enterprise edition, so that’s quite a common way of doing things. Kinda like what gitlab does with their ce and we versions.

    Edit: well, and you are enterprise as soon as you use it in production. So, yeah, source available.

  • I have an older clone by zalman, and it’s meh. First of all, it only works with either fat32 or NTFS (although, I haven’t checked exfat), and you need to flash different firmware to change the compatible fs. Also, if the drive has multiple partitions, the last one becomes unmountable using this thingy (mismatch in real size and that advertised by the superblock, as far as I remember).

    Can the newer models ext4 at least?
