Didn’t think I’d read onomatopoeia of Garfield sucking Jon’s toes today, but here we are.

An excruciating number, yes
I thought the newest season was okay. Not as good as pre-season 6, which I expected, but better than a lot of the previous reboot episodes, which I didn’t expect.
Honestly my biggest gripe with the show as it stands is that a lot of the current events references (e.g. Amazon, Bitcoin) are a bit on the nose.
So efficient they guard everyone else’s coasts too!
You’re probably right, but my first thought was Luffy from One Piece, voiced by Mayumi Tanaka in Japanese and Colleen Clinkenbeard in English, both women.
(Also, I can’t get over what a good name Clinkenbeard is for a VA who voices a pirate)
What do you say if you want the trees up?
“That’s not how it happened!”
“Oh yeah? I’d like to see your degree in fungineering.”
Aperture Science: we do what we must, because we can.
It’s an ultra minimalist representation of Loss, but backward
Some people are really weird when it comes to things being “fair.” I forget the details but I remember a study where given the option of getting $100 and a stranger getting $200, a good chunk of people would rather neither of them get anything.
Man with all the shit with Israel I keep forgetting they’re talking about Palestine, Ohio.
Yeah, sorry, I didn’t word that well. The game makes it clear that the legion is the bad guy, I just mean the NPCs who defend the legion don’t make a very good case
I wouldn’t say the NCR is bad per se. They seem misguided, and there are definitely bad people in it, but most of them do seem to be trying to make the Mojave a better place.
I don’t buy the game trying to tell me Caesar’s justified, though. Traders saying “they keep the raiders at bay,” as if they’re not doing just as much raping and murdering as the raiders.
The only faction I actually like is the Followers of the Apocalypse. They seem like the only ones trying to make things better without serving their own agenda. It’s too bad you can’t do more for them.
No, but the art is by the guy who made loss, so I can see why you’d think so.
“Historically, the two countries had cordial relations…”
See, they were friendly!
"…until 1904.”
Oh. Well, they were friendly 120 years ago anyway.
This might be more Treachery of Images memes that I’ve ever seen in my life, all in one place.
I haven’t read it in years, but I enjoyed it when I did. It’s kind of a slice of life of some somewhat hipster young adults in a world that’s mostly the same as ours but with some random bits of advanced technology, most notably sentiment AI that live alongside humans in robot bodies. I really enjoyed it a few years ago, but I have no idea how the story has progressed since then. I’d definitely give it a try if you’re interested.
Misleading yet entirely accurate
