Sometimes girls like dude stuff. But if trans women were the same as cis women, it’d be just as rare for trans women to like dude stuff as it is for cis women.

The only reason (that does not conflict with the idea of trans and cis women being equal) I see why that occurs is that perhaps trans women are indoctrinated to like dude stuff when they’re young, and that indoctrination remains even after transitioning.

  • in many cases when people bring up boy’s or men’s issues they will only do so while simultaneously attacking feminist talking points.

This is very much a talking point by “only girls can have issues” people.

“Men don’t have issues, men’s rights groups only exist to spread misogyny!”

That is a key point of why the idea that men’s issues are not taken seriously is spreading, because simply talking about / focusing on men’s issues quickly gets people labled as misogynists.

This both gets people to stop caring about the idea of misogynism, because “apparently simply talking about men’s issues is misogyny”, and thereby also pushes people to develop more problematic views.

  • I see a lot of potential in Lapce, but sadly the extensions (which are necessary, since it has basically no ootb language support) are very poorly maintained and outdated. Last I used it the Javascript/Typescript support was simply not sufficient for active use. I am very hopeful for Lapce’s future though!

Edit: Just checked and the TS/JS extension is still on version 2022.11.0. The code formatting still doesn’t work (for me) :(
