Market correction at work. Good.

Tangentially related, but I’ve had a “Tap here to accept the Samsung terms of service” notification for years now. I always swipe it away. I swear they always show it right after I had a bunch of other notifications to make me more likely to tap it. I have thus made it my life’s mission to never accept it.
I like this. It has a kind of military radio chic.
Won’t anyone think of the shareholders??
It is far more convenient to pirate than to buy media legally, due to the extreme and purposeful fragmentation of streaming services and their constantly changing libraries. If you want people to pirate less, make your service(s) competitive.
I really, really hope that all of the fragmentation between policies in the EU vs the US (as a result of EU regulation) get noticed by users in the US. Unfortunately, I’m not holding my breath.
And you know… I don’t hate it. I think if I can maintain usability I may actually try theming like this soon. Everything comes back around eventually. Digging the silly “Hackers” vibe.
That one isn’t silent
The whole word is silent
Yep, makes sense. Pop is great tbh, unless you want bleeding edge packages. I haven’t had issues with it, and as I mentioned, I think Pop Shell is the only tiling option for Gnome.
What I mean is that the two windows open in the bottom of the screenshot appear to be tiled with padding. It looks like Pop Shell is in your menubar as I look at it again, so I guess I answered my own question – but I’ve been looking for another way to tile windows in Gnome and I’m not sure it exists.
The writing has been on the wall about companies not wanting to sell physical media (or anything not giving them later passive income) for a while. MS/Xbox are just the latest to make it more obvious.
Calling out individual companies is less useful than calling out industries.
Looks great! Are you using Pop Shell for tiling?
Same here. I’m not used to the other way.
Computers are so fast now, we should just write everything in BASIC anyway
Third cousin of QE2, related through Queen Victoria. The fact that European monarchies still exist is wild.
Yes indeed, and in that case, also in the US.
