I don’t even watch trailers.
The name, poster and 1 line blurb is what will get me to watch or not watch a movie anymore
I hate that there is such a rigid structure required for directories and such. Can’t my drive of audiobooks just be scattered trash like everything else in my data life? Lol
I mean usenet servers are running with insane retention… omicron hosts have 5648 day retention, other backbones are over 4500
Unless it gets taken down, it doesn’t go away anymore… providers just keep retaining. I suppose that will end eventually… maybe some day the cost of storage will prohibit archiving 15 year old binary usenet posts.
I used this list and signed up for library cards in 20 different places. Just Google for an address near the library or even use the libraries address.
From my experience, the sno isle library has what I’m looking for for often them the rest.
I use eweka and thundernews as backup. I rarely need thundernews. It only tries that one of eweka is missing what I’m looking for.
So you could get 2 streaming services which would make you miss out on the content available on the other 200+ other streaming services out there.
With Usenet you can get content from all of them.
Eweka is cheaper https://www.eweka.nl/en/landing/unlimited-usenet-special € 5,99/mo for a year
And here’s a deal for easynews. https://signup.easynews.com/checkout/unlimited-special-deal/ $6 a month for a year
Usenet. 1522 hits for Tim and Jerry when I just searched.
Tried checking usenet and there are a few episodes from each of those seasons but not the whole things. Pretty crazy when you can find a relatively recent show like that isn’t accessible.
I love parking wars!
Frequaw looks great! I’m going to give it a try.
Drastic DS Emulator on play store has been the best DS emulator in android for years.
Usenet is the best place for TV shows. IRC is good for smaller file sharing like ebooks, comics, roms, etc
I use Jerboa and I’ll keep using it until I feel like it’s not good enough. It gets the job done for me just fine. :)
The thing is… if it was the ONLY GOOD choice or even just the best choice, I would be willing to buy it. It just isn’t though. There are so many FOSS options already. There will be better and cheaper paid closed source options in the future as well.
Every time anything negative towards reddit has gone up on place, mass unattributed changes have happened. I expect the same will happen here.
This comment made me laugh so hard and I don’t know why… I love it!
I would have never remembered this. Thanks. :(

I’ve tried a couple times to create an account there and been denied.
I was just in Mexico city this past week
When I was waiting for my flight to come home I tried to find cold water. None of the coolers at any of the stores in terminal B were keeping the water cool at all
All of the chocolate in the 7-11 was melted. It was surreal.
No AC in the airport and it was so hot. This was at 8-11pm when you think it sound stay cooling down.
The rest of the trip was fine, it felt pretty hot but not any hotter then summer usually feels further north. Then again, it’s not summer yet…
