How so? Cow farts? The grass is going to emit the same gasses whether it decomposes in a cow stomach or in the dirt. I guess the solution to carbon emissions is to pave the earth! No more organics polluting everything.

Absolutely, in general I’m not opposed to mining and other industrial activity if they clean up after themselves.
A fair point, although recycling only provides a fraction of the replacement needs of a population. Some things are only partially recyclable and other things are not recyclable at all, at least not without massive energy cost and industrial capacity.
Apple probably figured away to make more money this way
Glaciers have outbursts?
Weed control is a fairly new thing but not an environmentally friendly thing. Maybe Japan doesn’t like spraying pesticide all around.
Your picture is actually of active, well-used railroad tracks. Old unused tracks are rusty and weed-grown. If the rails are shiny it means that trains pass regularly and knock the rust off. If there’s no weeds it’s because the railroad actively sends out crews to maintain the tracks.
The animal wouldn’t be alive in the first place if we weren’t intending to eat it
We just use animals to pre-process our plants
Oh yeah I had to work with a guy who just couldn’t stop running off his mouth about Trump and how evil Republicans were. Everyone else was pretty nice to work with but that guy was just cringy all the time.
Yeah they were predicting an ice age. And technically we’re still in an ice age, so the planet has to get warmer to reach it’s natural balance point. But it could also get cooler, because we’re in an interglacial period. If we don’t want continental glaciation maybe we should be thankful that the planet’s warming and not cooling.
As of the article it had only reached 38c, which is a mere 100.4 f. Everything else is just projection at this point. Weather forecast are always sensationally overhyped, especially around here, and especially when it plays into the political agenda.
Good answer
