Honest question:
How do you make money for things like food, automobile costs, and your connected device (assuming phone)? I’m not trying to make a broader point. I am genuinely curious.

I started thinning rapidly in my early 20s which prompted me to act. Within a few months the thinning stopped and in the back I’ve been about the same since. Front started thinning a few years ago which prompted the finasteride and that seems to be slowing it.
I don’t know for sure, you’re right, but I also see no incentive to prove my experience wrong since the risk isn’t worth it, to me.
I started using Rogaine (generic versions) when I was around 25. I’m 40 now. It slowed my hair loss considerably and I have a pretty good head of hair still. My dad was completely done by 35.
I recently added Finasteride to the mix and I’m comfortable with the results.
Some people will tell you to embrace it and that’s ok too. I just didn’t want to if I didn’t have to.
I bought a mesh sneaker bag from Amazon that is designed to keep them safe in the wash and it seems to do the trick each time. Just be sure to take out in the insole before washing.
I’ll only drive automatic. No desire to work harder at driving in the city.
Helping my 5 year old learn how to read has reminded me of how dumb our language is.
That’s actually pretty funny. Usually stuff like that is cheesy as hell, but it’s a great reference.
I’d love to know what war is being referenced where a wounded veteran is still alive to be a part of this scenario. What recent war can we say our military was fighting to defend our rights? Afghanistan? Iraq? Korea? Vietnam? I mean, seriously, when’s the last time a foreign power attacked our rights?
40 seconds? I’ve never experienced that with Firefox at all. You’re either being hyperbolic or have an ancient computer. I have a Samsung Windows 10 machine from 2015 that opens Firefox just as quickly as it opens Chrome.
Some would say…it’s the shit
Woolly is my client of choice. I used Ivory, too, but I really took to Woolly.
Mammoth is a great free alternative but lacks some of the polish (and has a horrible app icon lol)
I don’t understand the hate for charging for a product. I pay for a Mastodon client. If a Lemmy client that I really liked cost money and I felt the price was reasonable, I’d support that developer, too.
Forgot Liftoff and Bean.
It’s recycle garbage.
So has to be country music.

That’s incredibly interesting. Thanks for sharing.
I said something along the same line on Mastodon and got eaten alive all because I refuse to celebrate a moment like this. I despise the guy, but I won’t lower myself to celebrating a possible stroke.
Thanks for sharing. Glad you’re happy.
