I actually have a death date. It helps a lot with being able to plan my life and live in a way where I’ll be happy with my life if I were to die tommorow.
If I reach that date then great, anything after I just consider a bonus lol

The sooner it all goes to shit, the sooner we can move on.
If you always go to bed at the same time you should wake up at the same time. Do you have an irregular schedule?
I haven’t needed an alarm in many years, but when my sleep cycle was poor I always needed it.
If he recognized his typo with the space after the D:\ in his restore command he could have been saved at the bargaining stage. I am so glad I don’t work with this stuff anymore.

It’s a hypothesis that our perceived ability to see things as “3D” is just a holographic effect, exactly how a 2D hologram gives rise to the illusion of a 3D object.
Not that out there, especially if you consider VR, or anything in 3d on a computer, is borne from 2D instructions.

And also not updating them when things change. The recovery process for a database changes considerably once it’s involved in replication, which one client found out the hard way.
Correct because the connection to usenet these days is with SSL, so the ISP is in the dark of what is being transferred.
If you’d rather your ISP not know where you are connecting you can get SABnzbd dockers with VPN built in that will killswitch if the VPN drops.
I do the VPN anyway because that’s how I set it up years back, and I just like the layer of privacy.
Exactly the same here too. As a teenager we also all pitched in on a CD burner when they first came out and kept it at the BBS’s owners place, I just remember a single CD took forever back then when it was 1x and 2x recording speed. That allowed us to share a ton more without everyone having to get together on the LAN.
