Is it possible that this password was really your gf’s password in the past ? It could have leaked long ago and the hacker just decided to use a previously leaked pass to be more inconspicuous.

I don’t think this whole story is so wild, it could be just coincidental. The hacker knew somehow about her DOB and thought this would be an easy password.

Rest assured a hacker wouldn’t want to use their own password or reuse even one as that could link to previous nefarious activity. So they had to set up a brand new password just to move forward. So they set up anything personal they could get their hands on.

Blockbusters are the most likely to be tracked.

For me I avoided that system with alldebrid’s sort of seedbox. And direct download with alldebrid.

Here as far as I know, a datacenter IP is free to download anything and everything on torrents… Which it then uploads to DDL sites for me. And since they can’t don’t track DDL it’s safe.

As far as I recall he actively seeks to commit cybercrimes and even says so himself.

It’s not the first young hacker on the spectrum that has urges to hack stuff.

It’s a whole different question when someone is conscious he is doing something illegal and actively seeks to do it.

The first thing I would do is anything that doesn’t involve asking for legal advice on reddit/Lemmy.

You could have ten fingers on a keyboard plus some kind of assistance or auto-suggest too.

I’m not sure how well this would work but considering the ability of certain smartphones keyboard to learn your language pattern it could be useful to some.

What I think is interesting is that we usually have pretty good scores in term of productivity despite having a lot of holidays and strikes.

In all seriousness, having lived in France for 35 years and traveled extensively throughout Europe this is not AT ALL my experience.

Religions has very little impact here and to my delight it seems like it’s on the downward trend.

As you can see we are not a particularly religious country and I think it doesn’t play as much as in other countries in Europe.

Also, we have fairly stricter than usual laws concerning religious displays in schools and other public spaces.

At least I highly doubt we are one of the most bigoted country considering our laws concerning religions and considering the rather low rate of religious people here.

I think there is plenty of SMS usage in Europe.

They could have put a big red warning and a disclaimer you have to read once for the unsecured SMS. It would have been fine.

Yes, you would have to maintain that but I think it would definitely have been worth it considering how much reach they lost dropping this feature.

I stopped using Signal when they did, and that’s one less tech user advertising their secure app.

Any of the chat provider can break their link to beeper and since they probably don’t really care about it it shouldn’t very reliable.

80% of popular posts had a popular comment saying something is staged or fake. It’s so uninteresting, unoriginal and beating a dead horse so to say. Even for litteral movie scenes we had popular comments saying it’s staged.

Sorry for the rant and it’s not particularly for your comment. It just was a massive trend I noticed on certain subreddits. Could probably farm karma just making a bot saying some variation of “it’s fake” to every posts.
