Soulseek. I’ll search a band I like, then browse the directories of other people with similar taste.

Speed Freeks is extremely underrated. Multiplayer only. It plays like Unreal Tournament x Twisted Metal.
I’m pretty sure I tried the desktop app method at some point. Didn’t work at all for me but I can’t recall why.
Oh it’s an absolute slog for sure. And I can’t even guarantee it still works. I wouldn’t have even tried if I didn’t happen to chance upon a suitable device. Definitely wouldn’t recommend paying eBay prices for one just to do this.
I’ve done this successfully, but you need to jump thru quite a few hoops. These instructions are for Kindle only. I think dedrm can cope with Nook encryption but I don’t know how to do it. It was a while ago now, but to the best of my recollection:
I’m not totally sure all this still works. You’re honestly probably better off getting a Boox device and downloading stuff from Anna’s Archive or similar.
There was that artist back in the early 2000s who made caviar from her own eggs.
Jailbreak + screensaver hack. It’s possible on most models there’s a jailbreak for. Master list is here: linky
Use of archive.org may be required, the link rot is a very real problem.
I like it. Here’s mine.
You’d probably also enjoy The Laundry Files. Math is magic, and while you -can- do it in your head, using computers is a lot safer and more efficient. Includes such gems as a basilisk gun integrated into CCTV camera systems.
Now I remember why I don’t pay attention to 7 news. This article is an ad in itself.
Fairly sure it’s in the cookies somewhere. When I used gamdl I exported them using this firefox addon … that was a while ago tho.

IIRC, holding space flips it from left side of the keyboard to right side. You can see the letters in small print at the center of the keys. The idea being it makes use of existing right hand muscle memory, just mirrored.
Decided to throw OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on an old laptop the other day. Haven’t fooled with it enough to run up against any limitations yet, but I gotta say I’m pleasantly surprised so far.
This is the one valid use of that “tip screen” what’s his name proposed the other day.
The specs are insane, but you can’t use it because the servers it needs to phone home to don’t exist yet.
Someone needs to make one of these out of the OG ‘we don’t talk about the holes’ Cacodemon.
I recommend starting with the CEO of Kellogg.
Wow. I think this one predates the concept of memes.
Not really. They have a lot of bits and in-jokes which are going to seem incomprehensible to anyone from the outside, but most of them are pretty chill if you engage in good faith. It’s like a lot of tech communities; if you don’t do your research and ask intelligent questions, you’re likely to get told to RTFM.
