Isn’t price fixing different from 0 inflation though?
According to Google a hot air balloon costs $150-250. I’m not sure where you live, but in the US that seems completely reasonable to do for a unique experience.
He’s asking about a hot air balloon ride with a company. He’s not asking about owning a hot air balloon.
I think it really just comes down to scale. Relative to other professions there aren’t that many software engineers, but the work produced by each one has the potential to reach an extremely wide user base. Someone working at Google could write code that gets deployed on a billion devices. This is pretty clear when comparing between different software engineering roles as well. Companies that serve a global market pay significantly better than local companies.
On top of that, there’s no supplies or logistics required for software engineering. It just takes one person and a computer, so expenses are minimal compared to other engineering disciplines.
What does this have to do with capitalism?
How are suburbs subsidized and how are city costs inflated?
Who pays extra for suburbs? Suburbs are significantly cheaper than the city.
You mean algorithm?
Same for Rivian. Its IPO was at $78 per share, it climbed up to $130 and it’s at around $10 now.
Not really the same. The public gets a say in which art pieces are displayed in public. Museums exist for the preservation of history, good or bad.
Because it’s easier to use 5:15 or 5:30 when you get a digital readout. No one’s counting every individual tick on an analog clock, so fractions make more sense in that case.
I got a sunrise alarm clock recently and I’ve really been enjoying it. Whether it will work for your situation or not depends on how sensitive you each are to light in the mornings.
I like USB-C. The connector is significantly better than micro USB. It forms a tighter connection and can be plugged in in either direction. It allows for significantly faster charging and significantly higher data rates than micro USB. But it is a jack of all trades with a fairly loose standard, so manufacturers can implement what attributes they see fit. Overall, I think it’s a big improvement.
Because the USB standard allows the number of USB ports to be significantly expanded through the use of hubs.
What about hybrid crossover SUVs?
The supply chains used in making modern processors are immense and span many industries all around the world. I don’t think people are going to put the tremendous amount of effort into that just because.
Yes that’s the joke
That sounds like both people are wrong. If one person defaults to anger and the other defaults to lying that sounds like a really unhealthy relationship.
