Right on, no need for concern about missing data then. Problem averted.

I’m down for that as well. It’s their info, and they can do with it as they please. I have no right to it, unless they allow it. I totally understand the frustration of not finding the info you want, but I still support the practice.
It sucks that’s where we are, but WE didn’t steer the ship here. Now we just need to play ball within the confines given to us.
This is such a low effort answer that does not even begin to consider the complexity of people’s lives.
There’s quite a few calculators that get this wrong. In college, I found out that Casio calculators do things the right way, are affordable, and readily available. I stuck with it through the rest of my classes.
Here’s one I found on the beach in Hawaii.
Plenty of cars out there running more power than that. Why do we need it? We don’t. The same could be said for most power levels in any modern car. Why do we want it? Because it’s fucking awesome.
I almost forgot about Fear Factory. Thanks for giving me something to jam to all weekend again!
I already answered that. So…I guess we’re done here. Good luck to you buddy.
I’ll try to give you a good faith answer. Because this is a fun social experiment that has taken place for years. The results are skewed if it is tampered with.

On a project like r/place, I kind of see that as a showing of people saying hey, we use this site, we are here everyday, there’s lots of us, and we’re from this country!
Because we can’t afford it.
You’re not alone. I’m guilty as well lol.
Even with ready access to Google, I still try to ask questions about people’s beliefs/lifestyles/hobbies/etc. It’s a mixed bag with the responses I get. Some folks are very passionate and ready to explain the subject. Others just tell you to Google it. I obviously know I can Google it, but was hoping for human interaction with someone who clearly has an interest in the topic. Maybe some bonding, maybe some learning, maybe give that person a second to nerd out.
Why did I create a Lemmy world account as opposed to beehaw or ml? Because it’s the first one I saw. Because it doesn’t matter. Because I don’t know what ml stands for. Because Lenny world said “general use.” Because I didn’t have to fill out an application. Because I can still interact with everything else, and again, it doesn’t matter.
Just a bit of light invasion.
