Have some roasted edamame, unfortunately they taste a bit shit though.

But on the other hand if chemicals in the water make the friggen frogs gay maybe the same applies to mermaids. Maybe all that’s left are a handful of super gay mermaids.
Honestly I do alternate day fasting and weed makes it so much easier when I start running out of energy at the end of the day.
Putin’s done some plastic surgery so that might be part of it.
That’s fair, I was kinda thinking base power generation by nuclear and solar/wind for peaks. But the solar and wind probably wouldn’t be reliable enough so would still need some gas in the mix.
I don’t think it’s one or the other. Nuclear is part of a comprehensive green energy plan. That’s because nuclear is the only thing that can currently fill the gap left by coal or gas. Solar and wind need extensive battery infrastructure to be effective in this regard. Mass battery plants will also cause some form of generational waste. Coal and gas cause massive generational waste and coal ash is radioactive.
Obviously solar and wind are going to be safer but nuclear being safe and dangerously radioactive is both true and depends on how well the plant is managed and how old it is. Nuclear accidents rightfully get a lot of coverage but a well run reactor is pretty clean. How does the environmental damage stack up in kW/damage vs coal and oil?
Hydro is pretty great though. And I guess fusion if that ever goes anywhere.
No no, those men audit giants. There’s a lot of fraudsters out there telling tall tales.
Hackers, a glorious movie from 1995 about a bunch of misfit teenage hackers. The movie has some killer taglines like hack the planet and RISC is good. Worth a watch although more in the fun-bad category than the classic films category.
An elephant gun?
As far as I can tell a Dell small form factor and Synology idle around 15-25w and 15w respectively. Both seem to pop up to 30-45w under average load depending on what you’re doing with them. But it depends on the kind of processor you pick and additional drives will also pull more wattage.
The SFF units are limited on space. The one I have is limited to one HDD although you could put a few SATA SSDs in there and 1 nvme. The SSDs would be more expensive but lower energy use. I’ve been toying with attaching a external HDD mount to the case to see if I could add in some extra drives.
I’m not familiar with the EU/UK market, but in the US I got my used Dell for $87 from eBay. It came with 8Gb RAM and a 250Gb SSD. And it had cosmetic damage so the seller sent me a second for free :P
I think depending on how much storage you need it could be a viable alternative.
Currently I’m still using my Odroid HC4 which is probably super power efficient but limited to 2 drives and it isn’t very powerful.
The Synology units are much more user friendly out of the box though. Also I guess it depends on if you just want a NAS or if you eventually want to get into self hosting.
Just buy a used PC and the drives. You don’t have to buy them all at once since you can add drives to your RAID.
I’m headed to the store to pick up some milk and the new Arch update thumb drive, need anything?
Yeah they’re doing AB testing right now
Actually I started with nicorette because of nootropics blogs and nasal snuff. I’ve only ever smoked 1 cigarette although I did partake in some hookah.
Now I want to see Rahm go to a maid cafe
Good to hear. I got a remanufactured one with a 12 year warranty so I’m guessing I’ll have it for a while.
Well new steelcase chairs start at $6-800 and the good ones are like $1400. Which is pretty nutty. But you can find refurbished models from $3-600 through Crandall or BTOD. You can also find deals locally for even lower but YMMV. Locally I can find a leap v1 for $150 but it’s from the 90s and pretty used up. I bought a remanufactured Crandall for $500 the foam, fabric, and casters are all new and upgraded.
Yeah. All the ergo communities say stretching > chair/desk > keeb > mouse. I really should stretch more :P
Yup, this one was ISIS flavored.
