Not just in America, here in the (highly idealized by lemmy) EU I cost my company 3200€ a month, 1850€ go to my bank account and 1350€ to the government, plus up to a 21% vat from the things I purchase. This could be a case of nodes running outdated software, the current standard protocols can handle any unknown configuration just fine. These are a source of a lot of holes and vulnerabilities that can pose a serious risk, they should be updated as soon as possible. If you have to keep outdated systems in your network e.g. running on legacy hardware, or make the ocasional connection, you’ll have to monitor them and isolate them from your critical infrastructure, at least with a good firewall and a strict configuration when possible.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as nonbinary, is in fact, UNG/nonbinary, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, UNG plus nonbinary. Nonbinary is not an operating gender unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning UNG system made useful by the UNG corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full gender as defined by POSIX.

I tried them years ago first swift (I think it was in version 2) and a couple years later rust, and while both are great I found swift makes it easier to write clear code you’re gonna understand and like when you come back to it. Rust was better I think with concurrency (at the time), you’ll catch everything at compile time, but they talk about interoperability with c++, so this safety will be lost since most code interfacing with c++ will be unsafe.

The opposition parties don’t mind DoS’ing Spain (just look at the expired Supreme Court that has still to be renewed) just to create unrest. The only opposition who tags along are those that don’t want to see society dragged along for political maneuvering.

And somehow when the current opposition has been the ruling party they could do all kind of things, fascist things that fucked us all over but they were perfectly able to do as they pleased, but the “left” (this “Socialist” party is a monarchist party!) seems unable to even undo a little of the damage. You do sound well informed, so before you mention the work reform, which was surprisingly good, that I have the unshakable feeling was a mistake on their part. In Spain antisemitism is rampant left and right, that’s why the government (Socialist Party) has done this. Make no mistake, this is not solidarity or justice or shit, just a smoke screen so their voters forget about the cost of living, housing, unemployment… and all the hard-to-solve pressing issues they don’t want to do anything about.
