Or if you have kids they can’t lose their keys if they just have a pin. And that pin can be changed if they tell it to someone.

I wish that he would try his hand on a lock from Yale. Considering that they are part of Assa Abloy who are very well respected in the lock business. My suspicion is that a company who are mainly makers of mechanical locks at least won’t fall prey for the many of the beginners mistakes lockpicking lawyer points out.
I find it interesting that in Swedish the opposite of sunwise is “motsols”, i.e. counter sunwise or literally “against the sun”. Sunwise is called “medsols”, lit. “with the sun”.
It amuses me that they believe that people who dislike Trump love Biden. They can’t seem to grasp that you don’t have to be fanatically loyal to the party leader.
You can’t? I find it to be a world of difference between reading a scientific reports and a youth novel for instance. Or some kind of classical literature compared to a comic book.
The amusing thing is that in Swedish you definitely do. Or actually “6:e juni”.
And programmers tend to go: “I don’t need to comment my code, I know what it does” 😂
In Sweden we tend to use iso, except sometimes on “Best before” dates. It’s always fun trying to figure out if your food is going bad by, for instance, the 10th of August or the 8th of October…
It’s the only one that makes any logical sense!
I remember the time they called it woke to learn empathy for others in school.
They truly are the “fick you, i got mine” generation.
For all their faults lawyers tend to speak the truth when they get into court. The risk of losing their profession is all too real.
“Hm… Is this help coming or the Flying Dutchman?”
My kids school in Sweden, at least age 6 to 12 have a school day from 8 till 13, or 14 for the older kids, and still no homework.
But long days would be counterproductive. Learning is hard work, that’s part of the reason a new job is so exhausting. Doing that long hours for years would only burn kids out even more.
I’m sorry but this is just a bad argument. Just because many thinks it doesn’t make it wrong.
Oh no! I won’t fall for that…
… again…
Back flashes to my youth and trying to pirate the movie triple X with Vin Diesel…
I think he’s talking about apples, have you ever seen more than two apples at once? 😉
“I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad…”, what actually does people think toxic masculinity is? The one you’re replying to seems to have been tricked into believing that feminists think that all masculine traits are bad. They are actually listening to the enemy of their own self best interests.
I think there might be some overlap causing confusion. Being protective and problem solving are not inherently bad, but combine it with stuff like dominating, controling and not listening to others, and it can be very harmful. So a person might believe that they are just being protective but since they didn’t listen to the other person their actions turns to controling instead.
The militaristic themes and what I feel is a glorification of war makes me uncomfortable. The use of historical glory from war is so common among fascists and nationalist. And no that doesn’t mean that anyone who likes them are, my son for instance like them. But my own personal choice is not to listen to them even though I think that they play good music.
Agreed, most of home security is to try and make your neighbours a more tempting target than you. The ethical choice is to do it by making your home a bit more difficult to break into though I guess you could “debuff” the neighbours as well 😉
