Yeah I’m guessing that’s gonna be part of the business model. I don’t personally see it

It says you can only view stats available from radarr or sonarr. Is there anyone who has set it up that can confirm whether you can add to radarr/sonarr from the app, or initiate downloads or anything like that?
Grabbed off usenet pretty much immediately for me
it’s a little over twice that long though
I’ve literally never seen a project remotely interesting that has their documentation on discord
Therapy. not free though
Cool, not sure what your point is but I don’t think I care
really, so now down payments don’t exist? Also housing prices are not affected by availability as much as you might think. source
I smell a liberal lol
Yup that’s a common critique of UBI. Landlords will jack up rent and end up hovering a huge amount of the benefits. Your landlord knows you’re all of a sudden making $12k more per year? Welcome to your new $10k rent hike.
For UBI to function we need basic price controls or necessities provided for before it makes any sense to introduce.
I knew Yang was a fraud from the start. It was his “you have a freedom to choose between UBI and safety social nets” that made it clear to me. Took a long fucking time for other left leaning folks to catch on. He was getting way too much attention. That’s actually why I liked Michael Brooks so much. He was one of the few at the time that saw through it
I’ve thought a lot about stuff like this and this is pretty cool but this basically looks like just a tagging system for files, which already exists in many ways. A true graph based file system wouldn’t just be an overlay over a directory tree. Would love to see some kinda filesystem dedicated to graph representation, where each file is a node with multiple edges.
Paul is a chad. He also got kicked out of ycombinator for outing the founders skipping vaccine lines and encouraging others to do the same.
Ok what does quietly mean? Did they whisper it?
This is super real and definitely happened.
I could see it
That’s the entire point of these polls
artvee is freemium - you can probably download anything on there that’s free off of wikimedia.
Totally agree, who knows when Google will pull the plug. I don’t see this being very profitable for them. I already have a favorite artwork that’s been removed, Two Sisters by Renoir. There’s no legal reason I can imagine that they’d have to take it down so it’d have to do with ongoing deals they have with museums.
And that sounds like a cool project. Take a look at this:
At the top there’s a browser extension and a desktop application. You can enter a url from google cultural institute and it’ll request each image that constitutes the whole.
More info on the githubg: https://github.com/lovasoa/dezoomify
Another project more specifically aimed at google cultural institute: https://github.com/mewforest/google-art-downloader
And there’s this one: https://github.com/piotrantosz/google-arts-crawler
Dezoomify is the most recently updated. I believe with a script, you’d be able to create a list of artworks you want full prints of and have it download them one by one.
Google Cultural Institute is just plain awesome. SUPER high res photos that let you zoom in to your heart’s content. Right now in the front page you can color in hokusai’s great wave. You can explore lots of famous museums using google street view. It’s really incredible and totally free.
If you want to bulk save high res artwork of artists, not sure tbh. I’m certain there’s a way to download the high res images on GCI though
https://artsandculture.google.com/asset/dance-at-le-moulin-de-la-galette/rQEx7CtGiKE3yg here’s a good example. You can zoom way in and see the impasto brushstrokes and even the canvas behind it. What’s weird is that this version seems way darker than any other pictures you may find online. Not sure what’s up with that as it appears they took great care to make the photo
Let’s make no mistake, this dude isn’t doing this out of some semblance of morals. Dudes an authoritarian dictator
