I use only the default depends_on along with network mode in my setup and it works but your glutun might be taking longer to load so something like this might help.
You definitely need some kind of depends on thought:

The best solution requires a bit of technical ability: reverse proxy. Things like Nginx Proxy Manager are really not that hard to use, especially on something like unraid but requires a bit of infrastructure and time to setup. The advantage of this is you can then get into the world of self hosting and do stuff like file sync (seafile), password manager (bitwarden), etc. The list is endless once you have a reverse proxy setup.
The easiest way however is to use tailscale to setup a VPN and access it via local IP address.
No, but most people find Kodi with the Jellycon plugin to work very well on Xbox.
Very impressed with the number of issues that have been opened in just the last few months. It’s clear there is a lot of interests in a FOSS keyboard. There are requests for gifs in there as well. Also the multiple pull requests from different contributors are promising.
Unfortunately I, like many other, probably do like 30℅ of my communication via gifs so it’s realm hard to go without regardless of how much I want to use a FOSS app.
You probably can still use it. Just don’t ever update the appliance because they will probably do something to break to api on purpose.
I also use glutun, works really well. Lots of VPNs are supported. Easy to add any docker container you want to it.
Fantastic work! Hope this catches on!
Obsidian-livesync works very well If you have some self hosting skill / hardware. The sync happens in realtime and is almost like Google docs. Allows excellent sync between all devices
That’s literally what Russia is doing by finding the NRA

Look into self hosting
Setup seafile for normal dropbox like functionality and immich for photogallerly.
In the end , after alk rhe effort to trick Google, all your shit aill still be on google.
MiniPCs are quite cheap now on Alibaba or Amazon etc. Wait for a sale on a large HD abd you’re good to go.
There should be a plugin that replaces the actual YouTube video with an embedded mpc or VLC player that streams the video like this on the website itself
Put your music on jellyfin, listen via https://github.com/jmshrv/finamp
Then enjoy your self holsted life:)
Please post on lemmy! I really liked seeing the devs give updates on Reddit.
An open source platform feels completely natural for a project like jellyfin!
Whatever country you are from, think about the most backwards/rural/remote location that has people with backwards and regressive views.
Consider that India likely has 5 to 10x the population of rural folks in small villages that have midevil views compared to your country.
Add in long standing cultural misogynist views that is so pervasive it fully permeates all aspects of government and life and you quickly get to a point where abuse and domestic violence is tolerated.
As per usual, it’s not like the entire country shares these views. It’s just the the number of backwards views in India is numerically huge because of its population.
Microtransactions started with horse armor in oblivion. The fact that people can’t see the clear trend with things like this is directly one of the causes of constant enshitification
Everyone is suggesting cloud flare tunnels which can be easy to use but locks you into a proprietary service. If you want to self host everything, you can set it up yourself with a reverse proxy like traefik
You will end up with service.local.domain.com and service.domain.com for local only apps and internet facing apps, all using HTTPS.
If you are familiar with traefik, watch a tutorial on that first, then come back and watch the above video.
This is the way, look up techno Tim’s “ssl everywhere” video to get traefik with wildcard ssl for Internet facing and local services then set up authentik and you will have a solid setup that will last for years with a solid foundation.
Other SSO options are just a tough if not more complex than authentik. If you use docker and are self hosting, this is a great option. Provides basically every SSO option to connect all your services, especially if you combine it with a good reverse proxy like traefik to provide SSO to simple webapps.
If you are setting up a self hosted infrastructure and have some experience, I highly recommend checking out techno Tim’s “ssl everywhere” video for wild card ssl with traefik and then combine that with authentik for SSO with both local only and internet accessible apps.
If you pull ‘latest’ and then want to roll back, how do you know what version you were in before? Is there a way to see what version/tag actually got pulled when you pull latest?
Bought a Roku and regret it. Should have gotten a shield.
