Maybe you’re not noticing the difference between 720p to 1080p is due to the decoding used. The rips with a lower file size often get there by means of compression, and some uploaders (such as YIFY) heavily compress the videos to where I don’t even notice much of a difference, however I’m going to assume you’re not downloading the 3GB (average size for HQ) 1080p film.
Then again eyesight plays a role along with display.

I wouldn’t bother with 4K usually, however once I upgraded to a 1440 monitor downscaling from 4K actually provides a fair bump in overall sharpness and detail (some films more than others), however the file size is usually over 10GB per film.

It felt like they were trying to turn Futurama into an animated sitcom, rehashing other shows. The characters barely had the essence of the previous seasons, and advertising was really shoved down our throats.

The situation they’re under is entirely separate from the LGBT+ movement, and the violence and oppression LGBT people have faced in Palestine for countless years has been well documented.
These are two different things and it simply makes no sense to combine them together. This is why I’m saying they’re simply virtue signalling, using the situation to appear morally at the top despite the two things not being able to coincide together.

You can’t just bunch up all social issues as one, they have different objectives and intended outcomes.

When you remove all the fluff, there’s about the same if not more useful stuff in comment threads here, however on Lemmy there’s way less fluff (again just what I’ve noticed).

I’ve been liking the new Beavis and Butthead seasons.

There was nothing futuristic about the scripts in the current season, just the characters and settings. Like they’ve just been covering current topics of 2023, and on top of that the episodes feel more like a generic animated sitcom.
The season just seems to have the feel of old Futurama completely stripped, and replaced with Hulu branding.

I am incredibly disappointed with this season.

I absolutely love the nipple. I wish more keyboards had it. I have a decent mouse, however if I had a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard with a nipple it would be brilliant.
