Yeah I eyeball too, but when you start getting into the 50/50 range things get dangerous so I keep it below that 😂 Most people don’t like straight liquor so that’s fair if you don’t like it neat. I’m a big whiskey and gin drinker so I’ll just make a Martini or Manhattan when the mood strikes. If I want something more refreshing a Mule is always great too if I can find good ginger beer!

I don’t know, I tend to opt for a 1:2 ratio if I’m looking to make a strong-ish mixed drink(Any less and I feel like I should just drink the whisky neat honestly). With a normal 40% ABV liquor this ends up being about 13% total. If you do a more normal 1:3 ratio it’s about 10%, so it’s weak, but it’s not that far off I guess.

There was potential legislation and a lot of congressional probes in the mid-late 2000’s in the US that essentially forced cellular carriers to publicly admit that it cost next to nothing on their end to send SMS messages(like 10^-7¢ per message) yet they charged insane premiums for them of 20¢ per message. This ended up being the catalyst for US carriers dropping most SMS charges to stay competitive while the rest of the world just changed over to alternate messaging services to avoid the fees instead like you said.

Just to add to what Daemon provided in the post, aside from hitting the comment button you can also hit the ‘view source’ option from the comment drop-down menu in Jerboa and it will show deleted and mod/admin removed comments as well in plain text.

Not sure if this is intended behavior or not as I actually appreciate the ability to do so. It helps to not lose context in conversations with deleted/removed material while still providing a small barrier to a casual observer.

Yeah. For fun I checked from another account and they edited out a lot of their inflammatory remarks that were downvotes to make themselves appear more reasonable too.

All of your points only have any validity if you could control what you actually hyperfocus on, which you cannot. It’s not something that you get to pick and choose what to use it on or turn it on and off at will.
