I haven’t been a kid for a while now, but a cuppa tea does sound quite nice.

It tends to help more with trying to communicate with someone who is slow by spoon feeding them info. It doesn’t always help, case in point, but sometimes.

The temperature

As someone who used to be a lifeguard, it’s 99% boredom and 1% pure adrenaline. I only had to jump on once and it was for a toddler at swim class. They didn’t have floaties on and were sitting on the side of the pool. The instructor was in the water with another kid with no floats and the one on the side of the pool slipped in and sank. The instructor couldn’t just let go of the other child so I jumped in and pulled the kid out. There was no thinking just doing. I didn’t realize until afterward I’d cut up my foot relatively bad when I reacted but couldn’t even feel it getting the kid.

It is kind of surprising how we can come to some truly interesting thoughts/ideas when high. But at the same time can struggle to process simple things going on or have our mind blown by the magic that a microwave seems to be when stoned.

Probably because Israel has gone far past a reasonable response and is now genociding Palestinians. Also have been forcing out people so Israelies can take over their land and settlers can take over homes and businesses. Also Also, they are refusing to let aid in to the Gaza strip as well as showing no regard to civilians other than Israelis as well as silencing people who are against the war in Israel. Most people know hamas is a terrorist group and fully supported Israel defending itself. This is no longer self defense.

Trust me I know the feeling. My one and only time I punched things was enough not to do it again. I actually punched two things that time. The first wasn’t so bad since it was the drywall and my hand went through. The second thing I punched, not so good. I punched the stainless steel grill we had and broke my hand. Didn’t do that again lol.

This is a very useful way to funnel energy in a positive way. But it doesn’t really help in dealing with frustrations/anger. Those tend to build up over time and being able to act it out in a safe way can be very helpful. My suggestion is something like a rage room if available. They have things you can smash up with bats and such and let’s you take the rage out on objects that are already broken/junk. So it provides relief without hurting anyone or anything still in use.

I have a 4 10 hour day schedule as well, But that’s not what this is about. This would be a 32 hour work week so it would be removing a day instead of cramming the same number of hours into fewer days.

I would LOVE it if they had lab grown meat that could approximate real types of meat. I would stop eating slaughtered meat immediately and never go back.
