I agree completely. I would argue that we dont need the comments at all. A post, laying out the initial comment chain would be enough. Like I said „user1“ and so on but with real names.
The reason I‘d like to do it this way (without comments but preserving the OPs names) is twofold: its not pretentious (as comments from the same person) and it would honor the original posters.
Thank you for laying this out. Maybe someone can make something out of it. :)
Thank you for your kind words! I‘m always the idealist. :)
I don’t know. I just used the first name that came to mind. :)
tRy fAcEbOoK sTyLe!
I didnt see that. Thats rough.
Please don’t kill me but does anyone else find this story missing some steps?
Like if vpns are actually legal (which they should be imo) and he has not done anything wrong why dont we get the legal reason for this confiscation?
I can understand that china is brutal but they will definitely veil their anti information countermeasures a bit better than „you used vpn! That is illegal! Pay all your income! Although vpns are legal here!“
It does read weird.
That actually makes sense. We had a ransomware attack once. We also disconnected the device but I cant remember if we powered it off. At the time it stopped encrypting due to that since our network drives were not reachable anymore.
Is there actually a way to spread the encryption process to a server?
Ding ding ding! You have won gold! :)
Wdym?
I understand you frustration but you are hurting everyone with this statement.
At this point, russia is still struggling for total control (not yet n korea) over their citizens. If we cut them off, we hand over the keys to everything russia to that insane individual.
This would have very dire implications.
Thats only what I could come up with in a couple minutes but cutting russia off is just not a good idea at all.
Have a good one.
The reason the stick is so long is so you can’t actually get to the carrot. You just need to think you can.
Thats what I did already. I might just leave it at that then. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)
As a mod on reddit (who only reacts to pings these days) I would like to post an undramatic message „here‘s what happened, if you‘re interested to join our lemmy mirror, here‘s the link.“
Anyone got something I could use which will not set off reddit stans or get me replaced and the message deleted?
Go get yourself another hobby. No drama for you here today. Sorry.
Sure! Feel free. I mean, I can read wikipedia and it basically says „private ownership of the means of production used for profit.“ as well as „competitive markets“ which are not what we are seeing nowadays.
I‘m used to being misunderstood due to my differently wired brain but I‘m always eager to learn. So hit me. :)
well, then go troll someone else. blocked.
I find your comment highly condescending. Care to elaborate?
Thanks mate! Very awesome! Pinging my other account haui_lemmy@lemmy.giftedmc.com
