Not necessarily. There is a foreign earned income exclusion, so if you pay income taxes on it in the country where you’re living you don’t pay taxes to the US.

A less euphemistic term in English is “regulatory capture”
That wasn’t luck - it was best practice backup strategy.
That’s because “Dual License” means there are two licenses. Anyone can use it under the terms of the LGPL. If a company doesn’t want to abide by those terms, they can pay them not to by buying one of the commercial licenses
Nope - it was Unix not Linux. The minus makes the command invalid on many Unix versions of tar (though most modern BSD versions allow it)
Sorry, it was Solaris - you just blew it up (the minus is invalid on many Unix versions of tar)
Thank you - fixed!
Even more specifically, Calcium Hydroxide is “slaked lime” (also called “pickling” lime, as opposed to the even more caustic “unslaked lime” (Calcium Oxide)
Definitely scrambled. If you freeze as-is, the yolks will gel and remain that way when thawed.
Your other option is water glassing rather than freezing, but that only works with fresh, unwashed egs (not store bought). Also be aware most recipes you will find on the internet are wrong! Proper waterglassing should use Sodium Silicate, not lime lye (Sodium Hydroxide).
Edit: Corrected - see below. Also, be aware that “lye” in older recipes can refer to any basic (as opposed to acidic) solution, and was more commonly potassium hydroxide leached from wood ash rather than sodium hydroxide.
No. He’s been real clear about that. Neither will Trump.
Short of armed insurrection, US subjects have no control on this one. The ones that are arming for insurrection also support the genocide. FML
Not a great example. All recent reporting was that the hospital you’re talking about was hit by a Hezbollah rocket, not Hamas. Not surprising that Hamas would assume, after concluding it wasn’t them, that it was the IDF, and it not be an outright lie.
Manikyam may not be as small as your Yorkie, but is the size of an average Golden Retriever. So unless you’re going to start eating large dogs …
The Palestinian workweek actually does start on Saturday.
Congratulations - you just reinvented red-state USA
Every single one of those things is also true in the US. After factoring cost, Canada still wins.
IF that were to happen, the difference would be that only the horses were treated humanely. Except for the whole killing thing, of course.
Probably because one of his alts was on dbzer0 and was banned for transphobia
$126,500 per person, plus another $20,240 in housing expenses. Plus your $13,850 standard deduction (though if you’re making that much you’re probably itemizing for more). So $160,590 for an individual or $321,180 for married filing jointly. That’s assuming no kids and no other deductions or credits - which is pretty unlikely at that income level.
$160,590 is the 93rd percentile for US income distribution. So yeah, if you (AND your partner, if any) are both in the top 7% income bracket, bad at tax preparation, and don’t hire an accountant, you might still pay tax on the income over that amount. Of course, making that much while keeping the kind of ethics that let you care about anyone other than yourself is a nontrivial endeavor.
Don’t forget that your foreign employer won’t be reporting to the IRS. So if your protest extends to not voluntarily reporting that excess income …
