Shhh! Nobody tell them about “inside out.”
Shhh! Nobody tell them about “inside out.”
Yeah they blocked it a few months ago. I don’t remember the specifics, but it seemed like a new mod/admin came into play and didn’t get the memo about Lemmy and trying to be more transparent and engaged with communities. Just poof
I find Home assistant has all these points with the exception of accessibility; I only have one account so I never encountered this scenario.
The trace feature is amazing to visualize the logic.
I do wish it had a test run feature so you can simulate different examples and data to see is the automation behaves as expected. I had one finicky automation that would fudge up after midnight.
I know datacenters have an IP range, and they could ban all IPs from all datacenters. But why?
Actually, that sort of makes sense. Reddit may have locked down content behind a paywall for profit. Whitelisting only data centers that pay would be “protecting” that.
They want unique identifiable traffic to maximize valuable data to sell. Everything you don’t want.
Oh, to me it sounded like you could access the video, it just had DRM so you couldn’t save it.
Different problem
I assume you don’t need the absolute best in quality, but I’d try a screen capture utility.
On a Mac, QuickTime player can record sections.
I primarily use 2811’s and my first projects were very susceptible to RF noise. It took me a month to figure that one out.
Don’t use cheap-ola power supplies and wall worts from unknown past gizmos. (But even the simple Chinese metal boxes off amazon work) And by all means keep your phone away from your project. It took me ages to associate a text message to static.
And add a capacitor to filter out power noise. That was a big one for me.
Double check settings, pins, and use a level shifter if you need a signal boost. I sacrificed one LED attached straight on the board to bump the pin output from 3v to 5v.
That seemed to do it for me. Good luck!
You’re always seconds away from death. Just take another breath to reset the clock.
You’re right. Total compensation was $193M for 2023 but that was a lot of stock too. It may have been one time like you said now that they went public. Hopefully enough to retire haha.
Haha! Wow I guess so. I’ll keep some shelf space available in the geezer museum next to 3D TV’s, deep fakes, fidget spinners, and my pogs. :D
Yeah, what a load. Though now they can boot his arse and save.
Edited to remove number.
Perhaps, but not worth buying if you can’t make profit or keep it from your competition.
60M is for over almost 20 years of data, but once it’s ingested, google will only want new content. Next year, it’ll be more like 3M if the dataset isn’t poisoned by bots or the AI fad hasn’t collapsed. Reddit will struggle with finances again and users will suffer. At least that’s my prediction.
I’m with you on that. There are some gems on streaming sites still, but lots of half baked content to sift through.
I’ve actually started buying DVDs again to add to a plex archive. A lot of not-current shows and movies are in my budget and I don’t have to worry about availability. I will say Plex tells me what service has what content in my watchlist which is nice, but doesn’t work for everything.
My SO and I were searching for a show and just gave up; too much of a hassle. Downloading would have been easy if we wanted, but after doing the searching dance, we just didn’t care anymore and threw on a show we know and enjoy.
Ha! Fat finger syndrome! Caught me before the edit.
Some of us experience this on Lemmy too.
There are some communities here where users plunge headfirst in groupthought and if you cross their path, good gravy will the down votes flood in. It’s not about being right or wrong, it’s about refusing to acknowledge alternative points of view.
Water off a duck’s back. If Lemmy needs more kindness, be the kindness you seek. That’s my philosophy.
Antenna on roof over here. Just finished checking the alignment. I’m all set!
Edit: just noticed the community. Might not help. Good luck though.
That’s exactly where I wanted to work, but before you hate, I wanted to get into advertising because I didn’t like what I saw and thought I could do better. I got the degrees, took the psych classes, and set off to change the world for the better. Nobody hired me.
You can’t buy what you don’t know exists, and there are some awesome things out there. But being hammered by messages or propaganda is lazy and abusive; I don’t put up with it.
So yeah, I’m an wannabe advertiser turned massive ad blocker/privacy supporter. Screw the industry.
I spent hours trying to find a specific DVD and gave up. Found it by other means in about 10 minutes.
Eventually I found the DVD about 6 months later misplaced in a CD case.
Didnt lose any sleep over that one.
I wonder if this works with really old claims? I really want to know why my health insurance left me to die so many years ago.
Kif! We have a conundrum!
