In years past, CBC (Canada) had a very nice website with schedules and the videos of full events all organized by event. I don’t recall the coverage being overly edited or filled with fluff commentary or only covering the “big” names/events, but seemed pretty broad and unbiased and boring-in-a-good-way. It was really nice. Highly recommended.

A simple VPN to a Canada exit point is all you need. And I guess a plugin or script to download the videos if you wanted them offline. But since you can browse to any event on any day and watch when you want you really don’t need to download anything.

Exactly! And if you go look up the statistics, even accounting for populations and all that you will find that it is RELIGIOUS LEADERS and FAMILY (uncles and cousins or parents I think) that commit most of the CSA. Not drag queens or trans people.

If they ACTUALLY cared about protecting kids they would be going after every church with full investigations and lawsuits galore. Instead they cover them up and brush them off with drivel like “Oh well he wasn’t a Christian then” despite the fact they probably were a pastor or youth leader and did it in the church building itself many times.

Assuming you are asking in good faith. The Christian/Evangelicals are the prominent group of people screaming about values and banning drag and other things they hate (LGBTQ, healthcare/abortion, immigration, voting, etc), while simultaneously being seemingly ok with stuff like this. It is quite blatantly hypocritical. It’s all projection and hypocrisy and bigotry.

I like this idea. It crowdsources the “fingerprint” of the ads themselves. So as more and more people get the same exact ad, and then tag it, it would be easier to skip that one. So it would reduce the same annoying ads from playing in, this Lemmy post is brought to you by BetterHelp talk to real live therapists about your podcast woes now, the middle of what you are focusing on. If it got big it would make advertisers change their format, but that would be good, less of the canned ads and maybe something more organic and less jarring.

I don’t disagree with you, however even this chart is probably biased because everyone drives at or above posted limits. Once you lower all the limits this chart will shift left, however, the slower you are moving the more reaction time you have and accidents that do occur are less fatal or destructive, so maybe in the end it will reduce accidents. I will be curious to see after a few months or a year of data.

And you are going to do what exactly against an F-35 or drone strike with your guns? Please explain how you would stop the US military with any amount of guns.
