Last tim I tried Summit, was months ago but to tell you the truth. It was one of my favorites! it’s definietly better than thunder and boost. One app that i can compare it with is Eternity and Connect. The reason why it did not reside in my top three is because of my preference, there is a feel to an app that i am looking for, I really cannot describe it, I did not feel it with summit, but Eternity had it. But technically speaking. Summit is one of the very good apps for Lemmy, you will not regret it if you choose to use it.

to be frank, Voyager is the least of my three. Eternity did have all i was looking for, unfortunately it seems that it has been abandoned.

Eternity was great, but it’s likely abandoned now. I switched to voyager. And this is a nice clean app. No complaints from me.

Worth noting that I tried all the available apps from the lemmy app list. And I’ve worked them down to 3 liftoff, eternity and voyager. Two of these are abandoned now.

as you say since this is a systemic problem with them. How very unfortunate for the passengers, a tragedy really, They are a victim of the failure of the Nepal government to fully supervise their airline industry; and also, assuming other industries, since the airline industry is one of the most sensitive industry and still they failed to put it up to standards.

Were they really pilots or just people who happen to have bulshitted their way to get a pilot position, just like how corporate job applicants do.

I didn’t know that about Churchill. Thanks for the TIL. But yes, you are correct there’s a class divide when meting out justice. Though I do not fully understand that thing about not prosecuting leaders of the losing party in a war. is this maybe because the victors somehow feels some form of connection to the other side’s leaders simply because they consider themselves as “sparring partners” during the course of the war? And of course, they were not in the field themselves fighting for their lives and somehow they just view all of these as a sort of boardgame or like a D&D campaign with maps and miniature figures of tanks and army battalions. Obviously, these are just guesses of mine and I confess that I do not have a great knowledge of politics during wartime.
