Omg I loved Nat’s. I had quit smoking cigarettes before they closed down but I was still kind of sad to see them go.
Hey I can answer this. Was on birth control for over 10 years and did the whole skip cycles thing. Turns out I’m one of those lucky 1 in 10,000 that developed severe liver tumors! Seriously though a lot of bad shit can happen if you use birth control too long without breaks. It’s definitely not meant to be a permanent solution.
Can confirm as I am allergic to walnuts.
Something I learned taking college microbiology was that if you reuse towels for drying off make sure one end (like the end with the tag) is dedicated for your bottom half and the other for the top. That way you don’t accidentally get your genital flora in your eyes/face.
Birds are extremely sensitive to the fumes given off by Teflon and will die. So no Teflon anything in the house.
I have parrots so no telfon anything in my house. Bought two Green Pan ceramic skillets fairly cheap and they are still going strong a decade later. Definitely don’t use metal utensils in them.
If you are at a 7 or 8 on the regular you’ve got bigger problems than dehydration. That’s liver or kidney failure territory.
I thought both the sound and the letters were referred to as phonetics. Now I’m interested in what other answers are.
I had a very misogynistic allergist try to tell me my reaction to a skin prick test was all in my head. He berated me during a tolerance test telling me I was making it all up even though my back was one big welt and I was getting dizzy/confused. I had a previously documented anaphylaxis reaction of severe hypotension that almost killed me prior to seeing this asshole. If I had been in my right mind at the time I would have punched him in his smug face.
I have never seen automation fully replace the need for human workers. You still need people to maintain the equipment. All automation does is increase the amount of output. And when you start running machines at capacity you find out real quick just how much maintenance they really need.
That’s because American health insurance is not really insurance it’s a discount plan. Any of you remember being forced to sell those overpriced coupon books as fundraisers in school? That’s what American health insurance is. It’s a shitty discount plan/coupon book that you are forced into buying from your employer and the plan itself makes sure you pay as much out of pocket as they can legally get away with.
While I agree with this I still can’t stop eating it. Mint chocolate chip is sooo good.
I feel like this is fair to just ask if they know someone who can help. It gives the person an out in case they are on break or don’t work there. I know I’ve been asked for help in places where I’m just another customer.
It most likely is. I know we colloquially would refer to this as breaking the 4th wall but I don’t know the real terminology for this in written literature. I do like all of the various answers everyone has provided. It’s made for some interesting reading.
I believe that’s called narration.
These design examples are really interesting to me. I would hazard a guess that these types of designs are only popular right now because they are common among rapid design software packages/subscriptions used by companies who don’t want to hire real designers. I don’t think the styles are inherently bad but they certainly are lazy.
It’s so much fun to play this piece to an unsuspecting audience.
American here. I love the German meme communities if even I don’t always understand the joke. Thanks for letting us know how you guys are doing and I hope everyone lands safely in the new server.
