Susan at work wants to have a pot luck.

You hate pot lucks and she asks your opinion. You say you are indifferent but you are thinking, “I couldn’t care less”.

Then behind your back she volunteers you to bring something (something expensive).

Now you have gone from not caring about that potluck to actively wanting to sabotage Susan for her inconsiderate actions.

But you are STILL not caring about the potluck - what you are caring about is the demise of Susan and her constant office shenanigans.
