Did they really though? Even if they’re actually ticketing that much, that many violations means something isn’t working.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone get a ticket for double parking, but like even if someone got a ticket, how punitive is that for them anyways? They probably are stopping at a dozens of restaurants a day. One ticket here and there is just the cost of doing business. I can’t see any amount of tickets moving the needle w/o cops writing tickets on every corner. At the same time I have empathy for the dashers trying to make a buck and it’s kept some of these takeout places afloat, so idk if I care all that much too. I’ll just sit here and gripe to myself while having lunch in Copley plaza people watching.
