Thousands of miles away from the brutality of war in Gaza, Tareq Hamoud and his wife Manal are in disbelief over the loss of three generations of their family.
From the article:
But all Hamouda and Abu Shaban want is for the killing to stop.
“We’ve never seen in this day and age where the whole world is watching innocent people just being torn apart. Families, whole families, just wiped off the map,” Abu Shaban said.
“I want everybody to know that the people of Gaza are just like them, they hurt, they bleed, they have families, they have feelings.”Until the killing stops, Abu Shaban says his family still reels: “I’m still in this nightmare. I haven’t woken up yet.”
Unreal.
I can’t imagine what they are going through psychologically, not just the loss which is insane, but then settling in on the knowledge that you have far less family than you did previously. Fucking hell
Beyond words. A real time tragedy, why can’t we let the civilians live?
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it could not comment without coordinates of the house. The family declined to provide CNN with the coordinates for fear of reprisal.
Yeah, the IDF asking for the coordinates of those who expose their atrocities isn’t suspicious at all, no siree! 🤦🤬
If somebody killed 42 of my family members, I wouldn’t give them any follow-up information either.
On the other hand, there’s more than enough information here from both the family photos, and photos of the area the house used to be in, to positively identify everybody in this article.
They ask me, Hank, why do you drink?
But do they condemn Hamas? /s
