Unfortunately pretty much everything has Pluton these days, including all non-Dell/non-Lenovo Ryzen 6000+ or Intel 13th? Gen laptops and all Copilot+ PCs. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pluton was required to run Windows 12.
So what even is the purpose of Pluton if it’s useless for its main use case?
But my main barrier to using Adobe products is reducing my laptop battery life by an hour because of its many background bloat processes, not the price (as I am currently a student). So much for “hook 'em while they’re young.”
I only open it in Firefox private tab with uBO.
I recently took a class on ARM assembly, and yet I don’t even know half of these x86 instructions.
Hard disagree. I dual boot both Windows 11 and Ubuntu on my main laptop and Ubuntu is usually way faster feeling, except sometimes on shutdown due to some snap or cups bug. Almost everything opens in a second or less, and I get better battery life on Ubuntu as well. My bigger problem is that it struggles with WiFi under crowded conditions.
Don’t forget the $800 30mph electric skateboards!
I currently use a 2021 Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and I really enjoy it. It’s a bit pricey at $1650 MSRP but it comes with a high end all AMD 5900HX, 6800M, 2 SoDIMM slots, and 2 M.2 slots. Plenty of ports: 3x USB-A, 1x USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI, headphone jack, and power jack; I’ve needed all of them and it’s just enough. Quite good battery life for a gaming laptop and supports USB-C charging. I currently dual boot Windows and Ubuntu. Biggest flaws are the preinstalled SSD is crap and there’s no webcam.
Audacity’s implementation is not just clunky, it isn’t good either. Compare that to Music Speed Changer on Android and you’ll hear a huge difference in quality.
Bluetooth reliability by OS
Android > Ubuntu > iOS (because of the stupid automatic turn back on anti-feature) > Windows > Linux Lite (possibly due to 2009 hardware?)
I’m not saying that Nazi Germany didn’t ban music, they absolutely did ban entire genres of music as well as many composers. But they didn’t ban music based on its basic qualities like tempo.
Not even Nazi Germany or Stalin’s Soviet Union had this arbitrary and stupid of a music ban.
5, 8, and 9.
1 is entirely useless to me, so is 7 because water is my favorite drink. I do not wish to become a girl so 2 is also out of the question. 5 is useless, because it’s just a tautology. EDIT: I read that wrong (as “people who find you attractive find you attractive”), oops. 4 is only marginally useful, and 3 and 6 could be good but pales in comparison to the rest.
8 is basically a superpower that nobody else has.
9 would give me so much more time to do the things I like doing.
After rereading 5, it’s the best one out of the bunch. I cannot find any romance in my life, and this would get me 99% of the way to fixing this problem.
On Android I use FitoTrack. It’s meant for fitness tracking but I use it to log my hikes and motorcycle rides.
So this is why a candy bar is now $2.69?
I used to buy chocolate candy all the time but they’ve seemed to double in price in 10 years, so I turned to pretzels instead, which are still cheap
The website doesn’t seem to load for me. It briefly shows the info for a split second but replaces it with a white screen.
Negative population growth or negative economic growth? Huge difference.
Interesting. I admittedly don’t have much experience with driving many types of cars, I’ve only ever driven cars ranging from a hatchback to a small SUV, with the notable exception of C7 Corvette, that was super fun.
But how does the FZ-09 not immediately take the #1 spot over all the cars?
Yes, which is why a delicate mixture of both is best because they spend their efforts fighting each other rather than fighting your freedom.
